We make our dentures in our on-site laboratory
All dentures at Battell Denture Clinic are crafted in our on-site laboratory, allowing for exceptional quality, personalized care, and more affordable solutions. I’m Michael Battell, owner of Battell Denture Clinic, proud Hamilton resident, and second-generation Denturist. I am honoured to carry on the tradition my late father, Denturist Ken Battell, began in 1975.
For 50 years, our family practice has been serving the incredible Hamilton community from our office at 409 Concession Street. As a child, I remember watching my father skillfully set teeth for dentures while gently guiding new denture wearers through the process. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the impact he was making on people’s lives—but I knew I wanted to be just like him. In many ways, you could say I was born to be a Denturist.
I bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to exceptional, compassionate care. I have proudly served as 2nd Vice President on the Denturist Association of Ontario’s (DAO) Board of Directors and remain an active supporter of the DAO and the profession. Since becoming licensed with the College of Denturists in 2006, I have continued to expand my knowledge by regularly attending seminars and professional development opportunities.
Outside the clinic, my greatest happiness comes from my love, my family, my friends, my dog, theatre, music, concerts, and travel. I love smiling, laughing, sharing kindness, and bringing smiles to those around me.

Trish, Office Manager
Trish, our office manager, has been an integral part of Battell Denture Clinic since 2002. With more than 40 years of management and customer service experience, she is the friendly voice you hear when you call and the first welcoming smile you’ll see when you walk through our doors.
Her warmth and kindness immediately put patients at ease, and she takes pride in making sure everyone feels heard, valued, and cared for. As office manager, Trish wears many hats—scheduling, coordinating and explaining treatment, handling billing, and processing claims—while keeping our office running smoothly and on time with her incredible organizational skills.
Married for over 36 years and a proud mom, Trish cherishes her family. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, entertaining, and relaxing with a glass of wine shared among family and friends.
Pavlo, Denture Technician
Pavlo is our skilled dental technician, originally from Ukraine, who brings more than 30 years of experience to the Battell Denture Clinic team. Before moving to Canada with his wife, Natalia, and their two young sons, Pavlo studied dental technology for two years, worked extensively in the field, and even operated his own lab for five years.
Though you may not see him often during your visit, Pavlo plays a vital role in creating the dentures that restore our patients’ smiles. His dedication, attention to detail, and high standards ensure that every piece of work reflects his passion for craftsmanship and care.
Known for his humour, easy smile, and unmistakable laugh, Pavlo brings joy and positivity to our workplace every day. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and spending quality time with his family.
