Complete dentures restore a full set of teeth when all natural teeth have been lost in the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both. Complete dentures are custom made based on models of your mouth and can be fully removable, implant secured, or fixed-removable.

Supported by implants, these dentures provide a firm and stable restoration that reduces movement and enhances fit, facial support, speech, comfort, and chewing ability—while also helping to slow bone loss at the implant sites.

A partial denture replaces one or more missing natural teeth and is customized to a patient’s individual needs. Removable partial dentures restore a person’s natural appearance and greatly improve the ability to chew and speak clearly. Partial dentures are custom made and can be fully removable, or implant secured.

Immediate dentures are made in advance and placed the same day your teeth are removed. The advantage is that you are never without teeth during the healing process, which can take several months. As your gums and jawbone heal and change shape, immediate dentures may need to be adjusted, relined, or replaced to maintain proper fit, function, and appearance.

Battell Denture Clinic can offer same day service for relines to address fit, repairs to broken dentures, and additions of more teeth and/or clasps to existing partial dentures, so we minimize the amount of time you are without your dentures.

To maintain the best comfort, chewing efficiency, and appearance from your dentures, we recommend an annual check-up at Battell Denture Clinic. These visits allow us to assess the condition of your dentures, examine your mouth, detect potential issues early, and help you avoid unnecessary costs or complications in the future.

Our receptionist Trish, is asked daily: What is the Canadian Dental Care Plan, and can I get help with the cost of my dentures?

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) has transformed access to dental care for Canadians.

This federal program provides oral health care services including dentures for eligible Canadians, making quality denture care more affordable for families earning less than $90,000 annually and who do not have existing dental insurance coverage.

The Canadian Dental Care Plan is not a free dental plan, so you may have to pay a small portion of the cost for care yourself. Understanding how denture services are covered by the CDCP can help you make an informed decision about your treatment.
